...to predict tonight's result? Apparently Blackburn have huge injury problems so with this in mind I will go for an ultra positive 3-0 victory for the mighty foxes

Heart says 2-1 City....................head says 1 - each.

I'm not sure there even IS an anti-Pearson brigade out there (as opposed to a few noisy cranks with Radio Leicester's 'phone number). But if there is, it's fuelled by comments such as "If Sven had still been here we’d probably be bankrupt by now."
That said, there are certainly folk on here who don't wear rose-tinted spectacles, don't react to absurdly to the least whisper of disappointment, and are prepared to see Pearson for what what he is - better than average, less than brilliant.
As for the score tonight, I'd take a draw, on our present lousy form.

I wonder if a city side has ever started with 5 players whose name begins with K (or any letter) before?
Hope we shade a tight game, but draw the most likely outcome.

trust you to come up with that off the top of your head – brilliant stuff.
Appropriate too as a 'W' has just opened the scoring for us.

That would be me then. I’m not quite sure how this comment could ever fuel an anti Pearson brigade, but I’ll explain the comment.
Sven had one model for success and Nigel has another. Sven’s was to identify what players he wanted and bid whatever it took to get them. They tended to be players that were more high profile than the promising youngsters NP goes after.
You could argue the merits of either approach but, one thing you could guarantee, that if Sven wasn’t successful then his policy was not sustainable. I don’t really believe that Sven would have bankrupted us because I don’t believe that the owners would have continued to bankroll his spending. I think it’s more likely that Sven would have been forced into a more pragmatic style of management, which would not have suited his style and, therefore, inhibit his chances of success. I would much rather trust Nigel to run a club on a budget.
Looking at NP’s record he’s still relatively new to management but, in my opinion, he’d already have to be rated in the “good” category tending towards “very good”. If he managed to get us promoted this season with a squad of youngsters then “brilliant” might not be an inappropriate superlative.
