Doing up The City Ground

Seen a few people on twitter and on another forum saying that they are, or will be starting work on a few "improvements" around the place soon. Anyone heard or seen owt?

I like it as it is and I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the screens and those daft advertising boards. Plenty disagree, but they are wrong.

Massive improvements are required at the CG. I know it's not what they're on about in this instance but a new Main Stand has to be priority - it's an embarrasment as it is!

I rarely eat or drink at the ground so couldn't agree/disagree with Giddy on that point, and I like the big screens and advertising boards so can quite easily disagree with Sutton on that one

Some kind of ticketless entry system would be good (cough like Derby have cough), apart from that can't think of any significant changes which would heighten my match day improvement (apart from banning the little shït who leans back on my legs all and every game )

We don't need a new tiered main stand.

Suppose I am just old skool, when it comes to the CG anyway. I never go there a look around and think, I wish this or that was different. Although I often have a pint at half time and wish that was different.

I don't see how my enjoyment of the game or my general match day experience would be improved by changing stuff. I like it as it is and reckon change can only make it worse as I really like it now. I reckon it's a grass is greener type thing.

Has for the advertising boards, I don't want flashing lights and stuff round the pitch while I'm watching the game. I don't really see the point of the screens but they aren't that bad.

And yeah i heard that the main stand is the new thing everyone is on about but everyone has said that since January and there has still been no official announcement.

Supposedly the houses which have caused the problems in the past have been brought so the main stand can now be improved.

It all comes down to the word "supposedly" though so your guess is still as good as mine.
