Good to see that the Leeds team that we outplayed last week beat PL Newcastle United today.

Very different Leeds team, I was there at Hillsborough, our team was a mix of youth, bench warmers and the odd starting 11 player with a few trialists. Today we played our starting 11 for the season.

I went to the game and the Sheff Wed team were a disgrace and if thats what the future players of Sheff Wed are, then the club has problems...I think it was totally out of order for Weds to arrange a friendly with Alfreton and then field a youthful team...Totally disrespectful to Alfreton who are lets remember only 2 div's below.

I agree amber, Stoke showed us the respect of fielding most of their first team and we're 2 div's below them.
We were punished for that ignorance 14-0.

We were always going to field a reserve or youth team for this fixture given that we played Stoke the day before. I've seen our side described as a Sheffield Wednesday XI in some results pages. Even so to get pasted that badly can't have helped our lads at all.
