Djimi Traore signs for Seattle Sounders

"Seattle Sounders FC has signed defender Djimi Traore, the club announced today. Traore will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-I Visa and International Transfer Clearance. Per Major League Soccer and club policy, terms were not disclosed."

Seattle welcomes Djimi. He was good in his pre-season trials and I think will immediately take a starting cb spot. he'll likely be earning around $150k (£100k) per year. Hopefully he enjoys the city and the supporters. if he can give us 2 good years it will be a success, imo. it's especially exciting for a Sounder like me who's followed Liverpool for a long time.

not sorry to say that this will rule him out for Stevie's tribute match this summer.
