Big week ahead

Tricky away trip to Ipswich is followed by two cracking home games against two of the bigger sides in the Championship.

I feel its a crucial run of games so I'm looking forward with a positive frame of mind after last nights performance. Thought Kane did well but I hope Nugent returns from injury swiftly to bolster a lively looking strikeforce.

On paper, three very winnable games. Unfortunately football is played on grass (lets not go into Ipswich away 2 seasons ago....) and they'll all be difficult games. I'd expect us to beat Sheffield Wednesday at home and get a draw/snatch a win away at Ipswich, but Leeds at home will be the biggest test of the 3 for me.

Leeds are a very physical side, and our centre mids in particular will have to deal with that. If they deal with it well, we win, if they get over run/out kicked/injured/scared then we'll lose. This game will be won or lost by King and Drinkwater, if they go lightweight and Leeds pressure them and they haven't got the options in front of them to pass to we'll be in for a long 90 minutes IMO.

I might be dreaming it but I thought that saw that Watford play away to Wolves this Saturday. I don't know why but i have a feeling they'll lose that game.

Let's hope so anyway

My prediction for the next 3 games, either 6 or 7 points

I fancy / expect Derby to pick up at least a point at home to palace.

Wolves have got to win another game sooner it later. Praying its Friday

JAF
One of the last entries in Scott's diary was "God this is an awful place". This has long been thought to be a reference to Antarctica, but recent research has shown he was in fact referring to Portman Road.

NP has had the squad on a diet of Pemican and man hauling heavy wooden sledges over Bradgate Park in preparation for Ipswich away...

...just in case.

Ipswich and Blackpool are 2 of the least attractive away games.Ipswich is expensive and they think they are still a big club and can charge as such.
Blackpool is a tacky little club in an even tackier town.
Lets just hope for a win on sat , but it will be far from easy.

On a similar vein to Robert Scott, there have been too many Captain 'Titus' Oates-type people around me of late within the KP "I'm going outside. I may be gone sometime".Flooding out in their droves ten minutes from the end and getting in my way. Perhaps a reflection of the way we have played at times.

Titus Oates was certainly a much better man than the notorious skinflint Titus O'Ducksarse.
