Tonight FC Halifax Town booked their place in the final of the West Riding cup where they will face fellow Blue Square North side Guiseley who currently occupy 2nd spot in the table. Halifax overcame Ossett Town 1-0 in tonight's encounter to secure a place at Valley Parade.
The route to the final saw the following victories for Halifax:
Liversedge FC A 0 - 7
Albion Sports A 0 - 2
Ossett Town A 0 - 1
Guiseley's results:
Bradford Park Avenue FC H 4-1
Harrogate Town FC A 0-5
Harrogate Railway Athletic H 5-0
The question we all want answering however, is will Duzza end his boycott of the "silly cup" to see his side play at Valley Parade?

Should be an interesting end to the season with both clubs likely to be involved in the playoffs as well.
Hopefully the players who got them there are rewarded with a place in the starting 11

Definitely. I think the state of the Shay pitch and the subsequent fixture backlog will ultimately cost the Shaymen a realistic shot at promotion through the playoffs.....but I hope I'm wrong.

For a minute I thought you Terriers had entered the West Riding Senior Cup.Wasn't that competition the last final in which you featured?

You're a League 2 club. A BANG AVERAGE League 2 club. You spent two seasons getting whipped in the Premier League but count that as "success"......you then forgot about that due to a plummet down the leagues which was as humorous to us as it was catastrophic to you. Your ground is shocking; like Legoland with less people.
Ok, you made a major final. And got properly reamed. ONE shot on goal for your hoardes of glory boy day-trippers to mess their boxer shorts over. You're not going to be playing in Europe, you're not going up, you are however, bang average, and the fairytale is just that. Time to wake up.
