wolves submitted their accounts drawn up to may 2012 and as i haven't seen anything on here about it - or in the B&S, or from the fans' parliament - just thought i'd pass on a few of the headlines to see what my fellow fans have to say. the accounts were supposedly signed 29 November...meaning the post-balance sheet events cover player sales in the summer but do not reflect on SS sacking.
"Review of developments and future prospects:
Since the end of the season, the company's primary aim is to regain Premiership status as quickly as psosible.[...] It is hoped that with [...] investment in the revised playing squad and a new football Management team, the club will be capable of challenging for promotion by the end of the 2012/13 season."
Profit for the financial year = £5.76m (includes c£2m profit on player disposals). A fall from previous year (£9.16m) almost entirely accounted for by the drop in turnover due to lower prem finish and reduced capacity.
Cash at bank or hand has gone down by c£12.6m, which is accounted for by c£14.5m owed to the club by other group members.
Moxey picked up a healthy £1.186m for the year, a slight payrise from the £1.152m he collected the year before.
Total staff costs were c£38m, which was pretty flat with 2010-11. That does include all wages (playing and non-playing staff) and Jez's wedge.
Our summer business saw us make a profit on player sales of c£16m, with £8.7m of that reinvested in new player purchases.

What's the point of being financially stable if you're struggling in relegation zone of the Championship? The review says that "the company's primary aim is to regain Premiership status as quickly as possible". Well it's failed big time then hasn't it?
