The fact that people even attempt make the comparison. I never compared him to Messi at all. Simply stated that many foolish fans do.

Ronaldo couldn't be played where Messi is and still produce what he does. Messi, I have no doubt, is/would be the revelation that he is regardless where in the fron six you put him.

Lionel Messi, as a player, is in a league of his own which is far superior to anything Ronaldo could ever hope to accomplish. The comparison has no business being made. Hence making it, is silly talk which "overrates" Ronaldo.

I like Ronaldo more than Messi the . But it is absurd to claim his game is more complete than Messi's.

Messi's the better footballer. And by a considerably margin. It's not even close.
