Tomorrow, beginning at 10pm, Channel 5 is airing a re-enactment of this terrible event. I don't believe this one has been shown before unless you know better.
Harrowing viewing I have no doubt and many of the older generation in particular will be touched by this.

There was a really good drama and doc with all those involved a couple of years back.

Yeah there was a drama on the beeb called "United" which was about Munich, it was excellent and focused on how a young Bobby Charlton dealt the with the tragedy.
Dougray Scott as Busby was terrible though, he came across as your sterotypical grumpy Scot who appeared as though he didn't want to be there. The programme is a 'must watch' for United supporters though

This was shown on 'National Geographic Channel' as an 'Air Crash Investigation' Episode about a year ago. I did a post on it.

I thought the Beeb drama a couple of years back was surprisingly boring tbh, considering the subject matter. It just seemed quite stuffy and wooden so I can imagine non-United fans strugglnig to engage with it.

It was quite slow, but i thought that was deliberatly so to show how long the process of replacing the team took as well as the grieving process of course.
I was interested in how they portrayed a young Bobby Charlton though, how much he struggled (understandably) and how he nearly quit the game.

I agree, it was informative but I think a documentary would actually have been more interesting tbh. Maybe I missed the point but I thought a 'drama' should be a bit more dramatic/emotional. If I wasn't a United fan I would have been bored and it clearly isn't a boring subject!

I haven't seen this one (shown last night) in its entirety, apart from the last five minutes as I was just checking it was recording.
The Harry Gregg documentary was superb. I have always held him in high esteem.
