Am I wrong here, but aren't we better playing away?

Hello Gollum.
You're not wrong there.
Every time I think "great, we've won a tough away match, now we just need to put away the home banker" we come unstuck.
Which is why, Mr MacDonald, new Messiah of SN1, can we please, please, pleeeease beat Walsall at home next week. Because we follow that with 2 tough away matches, so if we lose to Walsall we've had it.....but then we win tough away matches don't we? Oh, I dunno, it's all beyond me....!

George,
We haven't lost in the last 6 away games, all played on puddings of pitches. But, we have dropped vital points on the pristine CG surface. We tend to falter against lower sides who have to play at least half their games on those puddings. But their players are no mugs & turn it on when they get a decent surface.
I just wonder whether our groundsman is doing too good a job, teeing it up for the visitors.
I would be interested to know the state of the playing surface where we train.

Walsall are the form team in League 1, it'll be tough but perhaps better that than playing a team at the bottom like Bury or Hartlepool. Any win would do me!
