Nothing serious, but upon my little venture to the Owls home page to read about our afternoon at Alfreton, I couldn't help but notice nothing there, not only that when I checked the 'Fixtures' drop down the little bar the fixture was once in had been deleted and there remained an empty bar as if the 31st of July never happened...
Unless something suddenly re-appears overnight....thoughts?

I bet they would't have been 'rollered' over by Alfreton...

I bet you wouldn't have to pay them a 'packet' either....

They tend to get 'hammered' though, lack of 'traction' apparently

Well they sure ran a 'train' on your team.

I've already done 'train'. That was the first one! Surely you could 'engine'-eer something better?

My apologies. If you were a cop, I would expect a 'ticket' for my ignorance.

Some good points, especially Heavenly...
I couldn't agree more about setting these kids up... they all have a losing mentality they've spend their youth getting battered week in and out which has got to be the worst training for an up and coming footballer (crap or not)
What was Mcauley thinking or Meggo/Mcauley combo? They knew the kids were terrible and showed NO respect to Alfreton by sending the kids, it's not as if we're Man U and had a game against Kidderminster.
Even Stoke had the respect to send their first teamers against us and we're 2 div's below them just as Alfreton are to us.
Of course at the same time you wouldn't expect to risk the first team a week before the season KO but they couldv'e sent the numpties like JJ and JOC at least.
I hope now Mcauley and co feel embarrassed and this is what was needed to bring the situation to light
Sit 'em down Mandy!

I honestly hope your team doesn't 'breakdown' and 'stall' this season. The fans deserve better.

This is a 'platform' you can build on.

Shall I let you into a little secret about academy football? It's not competitive, it's all about technique and box ticking. And the kids think they've made it as soon as they join the academy, so it really doesn't surprise me that hey lost, that said 14-0 is a bit strong!
As for the Alfreton chairman I can understand that he's trying to make hay but he's not going to get Wednesday back down there again in a hurry if that's his attitude.
