This guy used to annoy me and when he got the job as part of the England set up I cursed the decision to high Heaven. My apologies.
He is intelligent, knowledgable, informative and a pleasure to listen to- regarding the tactics and what goes on behind the scenes in the modern game. He never takes sides (not even Utd). I really do look forward to Monday night football, if only for the hour before the game where Neville breaks the weekends games down. I would like to see him get into management and not waste this obvious knowledge and love of the game. Leave the Bull S to the Match of the Day lot.
Can this be multiboarded please.
Gary Neville.

To think we only have to pay £160 a year to have the privelege of Savage's thoughts. I remember the phone in after we lost to Newcastle first game. AVB will struggle and I dont like the look of spurs. Such intelligent backed up criticism

Savage is a clown.
AVB has done a fine job thus far. He appears to have instilled a winning mentality at Spurs.
For example, I think the games against Arsenal and the two United games are matches Spurs would have crumbled in last season.
This is why I'm not sure Spurs will throw away this lead over Arsenal. They just seem stronger mentally.

Also he was a very very good player. And a winner. You look at some of the pundits on the BBC and ITV and of course Sky and it really makes you laugh. Southgate, Dixon, Savage!?!? Danny Mills (WTF!!!). Neville is very refreshing and as the old saying goes - never judge the book by the cover.
____________
This is the problem
Savage does a f ucking "tactical analysis" at the end of the week which goes up on the BBC website. No doubt it is ghostwritten for him as when you see him speak on TV or listen to him, he has the most basic football knowledge you could ever imagine. Struggles to put a sentence together yet he's across every BBC platform going.

Also Lee Dixon is actually one of the decent pundits

Lee Dixon - you really think so? Perhaps it's his voice and this appalling double or treble act he always has to participate in with Southgate and that complete clown Adrian Chiles/Childs. It makes me cringe.

Dixon isn't too bad.
Gabriel Marcotti is another very good pundit.

My Dad has not got Sky so relies on 5Live. He raves about Marcotti.

At motd2 will be slightly better now that we get Chappers
I like Lee Dixon too, just a shame he's now on ITV who have the worst football coverage ever
