Drink!

I'm tee total but a few of my old mates are coming to the Barnsley match on Saturday (Blues living away) and want to have a pint in a BLUE PUB.

I drive to and from the games and never go out in town coz I've no interest in the demon ale.

Can any of you recommend a blue pub that we can settle into for the afternoon before the match? Obviously I know about the Summerbee bar, etc., around the ground but we're looking for something in town itself; somewhere near Piccadilly for instance? Cheers

Kro bar is OK, expensive though, its in Piccadilly Gardens and you can get the match bus straight outside.

Bulls Head directly across the road from picadilly station on london rd( next to the old fire station) is a good blue pub pre match

I'm Heading for the Bull's Head myself with my son, son in law and brother. Look for 3 tall guys and a medium sized Welshman lol.

Usually good in Northern Quarter then you can walk up the canal.
