Wolves boss Dean Saunders today confirmed that the club has opened contract talks with young defender Danny Batth.
After spending much of the last three seasons out on loan, the 22 year-old has broken into the Wolves first team in the last few weeks, turning in a series of impressive performances at the heart of the defence.

Danny Batth and his advisors have responded to Wolves' offer of a new contract by telling manager Dean Saunders: "I'm too good for this club and if you think that I am going to play in division 2 with McCarthy's deadwood; you're 'avin' a larfff"
