R Fin Kent,I dont resent any person earning decent wages above and beyond. All that is happening is that so called agents are taking millions away from the game we all love, this could easily be remedied with a wage cap and a transfer cap of say 1 million, any club breaching the rules will be thrown out!Fifa and no one least of all that French Rat Platini(eufa) and Grandad Blatter have neither the sense or B-alls to see that this is all going haywire.Talk about a level playing field, when clubs are talking 40 million for a player like its monopoly is obscene,I would just like to go back to the days when our club was our club with players that you could pronounce their names.

Up there Pie? As we don't have any fixed points of reference beyond space, I suppose space is also directionless too.
You're definitely not going now are you.

So you're suggesting that these mega rich people who've paid £20m to be taken into space may just get a day trip to Skegness? "Technically, you're in space Sir, OJ's lawyers won't get you out of this one..."

Not sure about points 6 and 7 but the rest are pretty valid.
Our current/rumoured spending still isn't adequate in my opinion though unless we're giving up on the idea that Venkys are supposed to be financing major improvement rather than just keeping us steady. Transfers-wise they spent £3m in January and have so far spent £-17m this summer. If all the potential transfers go through at their rumoured values then that reduces to about £-5m this summer. Not the end of the world I agree but not a good start if they've got ambitions for the club.
