I thought all the way along that Crowe was not 100% on selling his beloved South's, simply a smoke screen to impress his hand-brake by making these claims....a show of love and willing to rid all his toys etc.
I realise Crowe doesn't need the money and purchasing South's was not a money making venture to start with, more of a rescue mission. BUT to sell his share now would be a financial disaster until such time as he has re-cooped his loan monies owing.
As far as private ownership goes, South's are very lucky to have Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes-Court on board and hopefully stay for many years to come.

Yes Joe....very happy and very impressed with what Í saw.
Not going to get to carried away with last nights first genuine hit-out though.
The Roosters had a few new players and a new coach and will take a few weeks to get it all together.
Our kicking was 10/10 in re; to line drop-out returns, on top of that the Roosters gave us about 6 real stupid under 15's type of penalties of which new coach Robinson will be reminding them for sure.....I'm just pleased the off-season is over and we are now hearing the whistle.......the off-season always seems longer when your team is a genuine top 4 side and it felt like 12 months... cheers
