Wave after wave of you believed into the media circus of Rooney leaving. Rob practically guaranteed he'd be off in the summer but it was pretty obvious all along that it was just a tactical decision and the papers and some of you guys looked into him being dropped way too much. Simple matter of fact is Van Persie is a better goal scorer and Welbeck is better to do a job on Alonso than Rooney is.

If that figure is correct that is nearly 47 million a year.
No way any one should be earning that much money.
Imagine if he has signed for 5 years, that will be 2.34 billion pounds which is more that what our intire club is valued at.
