Thought I'd make a music thread so us lads could inform others of what hey believe is good music.
So whether its country, jazz, mainstream or unknown, slot it in and you never know, you might have something in common.
My Type of Music
Me, I think any type of genre is good as long as it can produce consistently. I'm not overly into country/folk, but Mumford and Sons are a truly amazing band. Everything they write is so true and every song I've listened to has me inspired whenever I hear it.
Excluding that, the rest of my favourite genre is hip hop.
For me, Kendrick Lamar is one of the best rappers at the moment. His delivery is tight and his tone of voice makes it bearable to listen to him compared to someone like Lil Wayne.

Ed Sheeran (Give Me Love Live Room)-http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DV0TJZ7Kp40 I know this may not be popular, but this clip here convinced me that he is a genius. The clip is slightly long, but the set baffled me at just how good someone can be with a guitar, a loop pedal (an instrument that can repeat sounds you just made) and the human voice
So that's mine, I'll add more of mine below if this kicks off.
Cheers

Went to both nights of the Sterephonics playing the Hammersmith Apollo not that long ago. First night was the songs from 'word gets around' with 'performance and cocktails' as the oncore. Next night was the reverse. They threw in Dakota at some point as well. Unbeatable.

would love to see muse again but really can't justify spending £60 on one band when i could see three gigs for the same price, plus I much prefer smaller venues

Saw Foo Fighters live at the MK Bowl back in 2011 which was pretty awesome, saw Muse at the O2 in October which was equally as good if not better. Seeing them again at the Emirates in May

I saw the Foos on the Saturday, when Alice Cooper came on as a guest and they sung 'School's Out'. Was the nicest weather too thankfully, being out in the open and that lol. And tbh I don't mind some of Dizzee Rascal's music, never seen him live though so I'm not sure what to expect.

May is just a terrible time for Muse to be performing in London they better do so again in either the summer or autumn
