Don't you dare tell me that Nigel Clough is a better manager of a football team than Billy Davies is.
Davies is showing what a good manager can do when taking over from a poor manager.
Look at the swing of points since the poisonous dwarf returned to Notts Forest.
Any Derby fan telling me Clough is up to this job is clearly deluded. Davies has not spent money, nor required 4 years to have an effect on the team.
Don't you dare tell me.

Possibly Rev but there are other issues at DCFC that hinder any potential progress and I for one have had enough. Forty years plus of following The Rams and now I'm reduced to couldn't care less. I hope GSE are proud of themselves because I'm not alone as their season ticket sales will soon reflect.

It's difficult to know rev. Forest fans don't need telling that grumblings are never far away with a few bad results, and of course public forums are dominated by the dissatisfied, no matter what the subject!
For the first time in quite a long time, we are starting to get some assets who could be worth a fair bit. Clough has never had what you might call a sizeable amount to spend on strengthening the squad, and maybe in the next year or two this will happen.
We have these sorts of periods , where we think DEFINITELY we're going down the pan, and then we have spells of good performances where we are DEFINITELY on the right track. I try to take a view of the overall state of things rather than the last few results, but even then it isn't always easy to draw conclusions. Much depends on what happens in the with the clubs we are competing against financially, and we aren't really sure how this will pan out.
I think many still think there is plenty to consider healthy in our club, particularly the overall young age and strength of the Academy. We have many good young players - Brayford, Keogh, Bryson, Hendrick, Coutts, Hughes, Ward, Bennett, for example. The club isn't rotten, like some, with overpaid aged players and in need of complete overhaul, just the ability to add in certain areas.
We're feeling cheesed off because we can't buy a win at the moment. It happens, and you lot winning doesn't exactly help. But it'll change.

Vidal, all of the positive things you mention, I can see, I just know that a inspirational manager could get this lot firing on all cylinders.
