The Gers boss said: “There will be debate about the comment but I’m certainly not going to endorse it."

“We’ve a squad of players who are doing exactly what’s asked of them."

“Is what Charles said an insult to them? It probably is if it’s right. But with the greatest respect, no one knows if it’s right or not. I wouldn’t have a clue if it’s right."
