Is this what has happened, Clark turns on his laptop and loads up the greatest management simulation of all time and decides that town need strengthen midfield, he clicks on 'player search' and bids/makes offers to for Gobern Miller Johnson and Robinson.
Gobern agrees terms and Clark signs him, Miller follows shortly after, after saving and playing out for a bit Clark plays again after his tea and snaps up Damien Johnson, players like Roberts state that they are worried about Too much competition and Clark fines him leaving him unhappy, The Clarkes are made to train with Robbie Simpson and the under 18s, a few weeks go by and Bournemouth finally respond to Clarks offer to Robinson, he agrees terms and Clark signs him but is too scared to admit he shouldnt of clicked on the complete the signing of Tommy Miller button.
Joey Gudjohnsen is offered to clubs but their are no takers for the icelandic playmaker........
just a theory, good signing though!!!!!

it's under football/league one...Roberts was def there in his orange boots. Funny about the 5 subs rule tho', thought Town had said at the time they supported the reduction from 7, now it seems they don't.

I think he came across very well in that interview, just watched it now and he seems very level headed and the mention of Matty Crooks is great.

Johnny,
I think that Joey'z lack of completion haz more to do with Kack oc options.
In ouf usual 451 Rhodes is a statue marked by / centrs halves, the 2 wide midfielders cab't be assed to get forward quick enough and the other two central midfielders ars so knackered covering for the 2 wide midfielders that can't be assed to track back that they can't be assed to nake themselves available. Hence Joey has no options

Kay was a defender turned midfielder and had a stand out season for Tranmere, Accepted by their fans at the time as being their best player, Clark brought him to the club and has thus far failed to bring the best out of him.
The Robinson signing smacks of similarities.
Joey G will cost an absolute fortune of normal money to mutually terminate, shame, someone else will play to his strengths and get the best out of him.
Clark is obviously still a novice on football manager as any decent manager would have brought in the pacy forward we are obviously still missing ? Unless he is sticking with 451 in which case he should have brought in a big mobile durable line leading goal getter with leadership qualities and a big heart but not even on championship/football manager pc game would you ever entice Grant Holt to drop two divisions.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that on Cryer. Even a simple 10 yard pass went astray to many times for me and tbh, if a few on here thought Pilks had a poor attitude then Joey definately had issues. Anyway after all that's said and done I don't think we'll be debating this one for much longer
