Diva Refs

Was kind of watching both matches today and was a bit bemused by how much face time the refs were getting.

The stoppages in play seemed to go on forever to the extent it was actually off putting.

I suppose some blame has to lie with the players for giving them the opportunity though.

Agree a bit with the point about players, but I believe they are victims of the modern game.

As long as the current preoccupation with "the hit" and "the contact" persists then it gives ample opportunity for Divas like Barnes and Rolland etc. to show off their latest whistle they got for Christmas by pinging every miniscule infringement.

You'll notice I didn't include Joubert in that though I'm sure others would.

I dont recall being ref for any match
