No one seems to be mentioning that, since NW messed things completely by (allegedly according to the experts on here) proactively selling off Becchio and bringing in Morison, what has happened to the two players?
I know what Morison has done - 3 goals for Leeds. Can someone let me know how Becchio has done? And of course, for those with second sight, how Beccio would have done yesterday with the chances Morison had.
BTW, I am not anti Becchio at all, think he did a good job over a number of years for us, nor am I particularly pro NW.
Just occurs to me NW may know a bit more about football management than some on here.

Becchio is not a PL striker.
What is your point?
NW has failed to deliver promotion.
Again what is your point?

that NW knows a lot more than you do and is a good manager with an impossible task

Knowing more than me is not what needs to be achieved. I can't prove otherwise as I am not the manager.
NW has failed, yes it's a tough job.
For me getting rid of Becchio was good for the club, unlike key players like Gradel and Snoddy.
Saying NW knows more than the fans in general is a a naive statement, it is not based on any substance.
His signings have been poor in general.
He has failed, the performances have been poor, the entertainment has been pathetic.
If indeed he knows more than me it's about time he proved it on the pitch.

Rubbish. The season isn't over and whilst we're not in pole position, we're certainly not unable to get promotion. So he HASN'T failed to get promotion (yet).
Just how soon do you throw the towel in ??????

Another shoot down what's not wanted!..
Morison scored 2 yesterday, great, I hope that means he's found the form we've been waiting for!..
So, Ross, how many has our main striker scored since the shoot down left?..
A premiership player, trying to find his way, did Beckford score in his first premier game?..
If I'm not mistaken it took a few games for him to find his mark!..
The question must be, why did a/some premier teams ask about Becchio and none about Ross, maybe because other managers know more then us and just as much as Warnock about football, but then, their premiership managers, something Warnock hasn't done to well at so people keep saying!..
"I know what Morison has done - 3 goals for Leeds."
And everybody knows what Becchio did for Leeds, scored how many?..
And if he'd been playing the games that we're missing a lot of goals with the simplest of chances, how many more would he have scored!..
Oh, and the dreaded "Hoof Ball", that was yet again to be seen yesterday!.
Get at Becchio all you's want, he's playing for a team that did what we're I doubt are going to do this year "again", and he was touted by more then one club not all in this country so there must be a lot of dumb ass managers out there that ain't a clue about a player, or maybe its just our manager that hasn't a clue and let the player he "reckoned" he was building his team around go!..
Love the Becchio hoof ball thing, because its still with us, and its the manager that tells the players how to do it!..

Don't really see the point of the article. Warnock's job is to manage. Did he get the best out of a superior team in the run in last season? No he did not, form had relegation written all over it.
This season he has promoted himself as being the best manager to get Leeds United promotion. The season thus far has been poor in so many ways. The vast majority of signings have not performed consistently. The style of play/tactics have largely been woeful. His public lambasting of specific players has been reprehensible.
Yes, I accept, it's not over until the lady of larger proportions gets to sing but let's face it, we have ridden our luck more than ever before and the Championship has been poorer in terms of quality and consistency than for some considerable time.
We are fortunate to be in the position that we are in but I genuinely hope he does it and then does the honourable thing and disappear into retirement.
The problem is which is the lesser of two evils? Promotion and then Warnock retained by the dithering GFH or we miss out and then wait to see whose next in line for the poisoned chalice and no transfer kitty to bring in genuine quality.
The class of 2011-12 would have, in my humble opinion, have been pretty close to promotion this season under a better manager.
Warnock has been a manager for far longer than most and his promotions span a number of different leagues. His record at the very top is poor. He is not the man to lead Leeds United in the Premiership.
Having a pop at those who venture a differing opinion is beyond me. It's a forum for opinion. I like to see people venture different opinions as long as they don't get personal and nasty with each other. If Warnock didn't know more about football management than the rest of us on here then why would he be a football manager. The fact that he is doesn't prevent us from agreeing with his approach or otherwise. Isn't that the point of a democracy?

If NW is such a good manager,he puts doubt into a lot of peoples minds regarding subs and tactics.Because again yesterday he dithered again about what to do untill the 87th minute, which by then it was too late to keep the 3 points. In the opposite corner was a manager trying to pull out all he could to get the 3 points.NW must know his players, after all,he was the one that brought them to the club to do a job,but he seems not to have any idea when to put them on.He has been in and had enough experience of this league to know what he want's by now.In my opinion,I think he is past it.But like most,I still hope he could do it,and gain promotion. But then we would still have the problem as to who would replace him,or if he would stay. But with the latter, even NW is not proven at the premiership level,so it would be a big risk to keep him either way.

We would have more points in the table if he was still here now. And nw would have kept him if he would not asked to leave. Morison been poor up to yesterday's game but it will come and it has.
Has for becchio he is stepping up a level and will need far more time.
People say we are playing better because becchio has gone but why don't people look at other players form picking up like Varneys?

Whatever ya opinion about Becchio leaving is,
I'm still trying to understand why a manager, who is supposedly pushing for promotion gets rid of our top scorer with 19 goals, and the season was only about half over.
Good management, doubt it, good managers don't get rid of top scorers. Again, something happened behind the scenes, as with Johnson, Snoddy, Howson and others.
Becchio will eventually find his feet in PL, better than Beckford I think.
