Knocked out of the Champions league, super cup, league cup ... it goes on.
This has been chelsea's worst season for many years, the club is in turmoil and it will not change in days.
Were not expected to win a trophy this season , thats fine. United wone nothing last season ....NOTHING THEY WERE TROPHYLESS.
Sometimes , as much as it hurts , being trophyless is good obviously not like arsenal but it teaches the lesson that major improvements are needed.
Say if chelsea wone the europa and fa cup this will only cover the cracks , therefore regardless of what we win if we do it doesn't change the clubs woes.
ACCEPT IT : team in transtition

You don't have to win one every year but if there's 2 or 3 stood smack in front of you and you don't take it then it's sort of pathetic and also when you're a game away in the FA cup from Wembley and you hand the game away in 10 minutes

Ofcourse it hurts and suggests that the players dont care , it really hurts and what can we do. Its the board and management that are just as much to blame

i dont think transition is right word for it...we were doing well at the beggining of the season...the problem wasnt even firing RDM becouse he lost 3 caps /CS,CL an ESC/ he cost us more the 30 mil for that...the issue was appointment of Rafa which someone should take a responsibility at the end of the season...we have good squad..only missinf puzzle is good striker and DM...2 players....

you dont know it yet but we're very closing of falling out of top 4 places in the league and it will happen if the spirit within the camp remains the same,no champions league football next season could be a major blow to chelsea's aspiration's going into the future

No. Transition is a cliche excuse. We are reaping the reward of mismanagement top down.
Lack of trophies is not the big issue. Lack of direction, longterm view, confidence and spirit are the bits that hurt.

We're not in transition. We're not changing into anything - there are absolutely no positives to be drawn. IF we were still playng nice football like we were at the beginning, we could argue we're in transition. But we ain't. Drogzola is right.

NOT RAFAS FAULT!!
the core squad has been in place for almost a decade!
We've gotten very good mileage out of the squad, but calls of the team being too old were slung out 2 or 3 yeares ago. Drogba left to the severe detriment of the team, while torres can't integrate well at all. Rafa was probably put in place to get rid of the old-timers, but he's already undermined, so what could be an average season could turn into a bad season.. or maybe it could turn out well if Rafa casts aside the issues with the back office and justwinsbaby
