He didn't do zilch, he did less than that in that he aided Chelsea!

About needing a world class winger, the sad thing is we have a player who has the ability to perform at that level. I don't think Nani is playing that well at the moment (considering how good he can be). If he gets into top form hes soo much better than Valencia its crazy, but he needs to be consistent!

Average is a massive, massive overstatement.

As I said in another thread, the fact that Valencia got subbed on ahead of Young or Welbeck (or anyone on that friggin bench tbh) is unbelievable. It is not physically possible for a right winger to perform worse than he is doing at the moment.

And I hate saying that because i've always liked Valencia. But i've got to call it as it is. His performances this season have been nothing short of embarrassing, and I dont know how he is still getting into this team.

<sigh> I've tried to stick by the lad, but his crossing today was woeful. Actually managed to get a couple of (poor) crosses in, so an improvement I suppose.

I honestly believe that if I had played on the right wing today instead, I would not have performed worse than Valencia. I wouldnt have been any better, but no worse. Honestly. Pretty every much every touch he took was to the detriment of the team.
