Rumours that Bacary Sagna wants to leave North London have caused Arsenal to align their sights upon Manchester City's out of fitness, and favour, full-back Micah Richards. Would you sign Micah Richards? (Discuss)

Can't believe he is still only 24. Seems like he's been around forever.

What Kam said. Nothing about him, at any point in his career - ergo when he was "promising" - is what Arsenal need in a defensive crux that barely knows its árse from its elbow even with defenders with twice the ability Richards has.

Take him in a heart beat. At 24 he has so many years ahead of him and would add a physical presence as well as pace to our back line.

Other rumours link us to Rami and Ogbonna. Of course it's all BS but those two are far better than Richards and probably want less money.
As for Right back, Jenkinson is very good and there are many other players we can attract even if we finish fifth. I think Richards would be quite a good signing but it wouldn't happen.

If Sagna goes then imo Jenko is ready to step up to first choice. His only poor performance, personally, was the Sunderland match which was his first game in god knows. He was immense at the start of the season and was our best player by miles last week. I think he's ready. But I can't see who we can buy to be second choice to Jenkinson. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bellerin promoted to deputy next season tbh. Whether he can make that step yet I cant comment as I've seen barely anything of him, just heard good things.
Don't want Richards though, far too reckless. Maybe 4/5 years ago, not now though.

So he was great as an unproven 18-19 year old with potential. But now as a experienced international and trophy winner in his mid 20s he is not what we want? Well another youngster for us all to complain about next year I'm sure is right around the corner

From Citys treatment room to ours, why exactly?
