Neymar

Another over-hyped and distinctly average Brazilian, the hype he gets is criminal and frankly a joke.

At best he has all the attributes to be the next Robinho.

Has got a lot of talent. But as has been suggested is nowhere near the level he's being hailed as.

As for him becoming the next Robinho. People are quick to forget Robinho was actually world class for some time. They're judging the clown 'Harlem Globetrotter' Robinho now. He's been long past it for a while.

Robinho was never world class, he never fulfilled his potential at Madrid. I remember him scoring crazy goals on youtube like Neymar though, but neymar looks like he has a better attitude.

For a spell at Madrid, yes he was world class. He just never kept it up for long.
He fell away after his second season in the Prem.

Neymar will do well to surpass him.

He did have about 6 months where he was amazing. he had so much ability though, should have achieved a lot more.

Agreed. You're spot on.
He was one of my favourite players before. Just a shame he's been reduced to a clown, Denilson Mark II (not our one). A show pony.

His dribbling, speed, and vision was out of this world. Actually he had everything. After Ronaldinho he was the most skillful player in the world.

i think coming to england when he did didnt help, think he would of faired better at chelsea though

Brazilians love to party too much. Ronaldinho's peak didn't last long but was out of this world. He wasn't as effective as Messi but for pure talent and ability he was better.

Ronaldinho was special and his time at the top was not that short lived, he had vision, technique, trickery and power (serious power) - Neymar has trickery and not much else, I'm happy to be proved wrong but IMO he'll flop in Europe and soon head back to Brazil.

Whatever anyone says, as long as he doesn't move to England, he'll be a fantastic signing. I don't think he's strong enough for the premier league but in Spain he'd be amazing.

He's not 'distinctly average' but he certainly is over hyped.
