I guess that's the calibre of player you can attract with consecutive top half finishes in the best league in the World and a ridiculous amount of tv money with next years PL windfall.
Not saying this signing will come off, but after Benfica's highly rated striker was linked last week aswell....we're obviously targeting a higher class of player.

Given the source you have to be highly sceptical BUT as you rightly say Sir JH it's important that we are viewed as credible when looking at these targets. Will only become clearer once Lukaku's future is sorted for next season I guess.

Lukaku will return in my opinion.

JH, I agree with you, I also think Lukaku will return next season, and if we can get in another new striker to go with him, Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie (who I would also keep) we should be ok.

Hopefully an all out attacking striker to replace Lukaku and a winger type striker ala Scott Sinclair to replace Odem.
