Group A

Junior

Team: Haugesund

Odds: 6 – 1

Previous tournament performances: Winner, Quarter-final, Semi-final, Quarter-final

Ranked: 4th

So the Junior comeback hasn’t been what he hoped it would’ve been when he returned last official tournament. A 3 – 0 whopping from Voom in the German tournament and a flop quarter-final place in the spin-off tournament with Marseille is beginning to show that the victory in the SPL tournament (now over a year ago) was possibly just a flash in the pan. As for this tournament the hardest group of the four and I expect him to put up a fight, but to go out in the group-stages.

Tyke

Team: Tromse IL

Odds: 4 – 1

Previous Tournament Performances: Final, semi-final, group stages, group stages, quarter-final, semi-final, group stages, group stages

Ranked: 7th

The last two official tournaments have been something of a disaster for me out in the group-stages on both of and now having gone out in the group stages the same number of times as I have progressed from them, doesn’t make happy reading! However a morale boosting showing at the anniversary tournament yields hope. Having been drawn a decent team for this league I should be expected to get out of this group despite the difficulty and hopefully claim a scalp in the knock-out stages (Virus).

May

Team: Fredrikstad FK

Odds: 5 – 1

Previous Tournament performances: Final, Final

Ranked: 8th

May showed that his debut final appearance was no flash in the plan when he notched up another final appearance in the German tournament and taking him to ranking 8th In just two appearances, impressive stuff! Despite him having a weak team for this league he has shown he can work with even the worst tools handed to him, so I expect him to edge Henry and Junior and join Tyke in the knock-outs, always a dangerous opponent, but I think the final run has come to an end for now.

Henry

Odds: 6 – 1

Team: Stabzek Fotball

Previous tournament performances: Quarter-Finals, Group-Stages

Ranked: 16th

Whilst not as glamorous as May, Henry has also made a solid start to his tournament career notching up some impressive victories, unfortunately also some terrible losses and here lies his downfall. He performed well in the anniversary tournament though reaching the final and just losing to Voom, a bit more of that and he could well get through this group, but I expect a group-stage exit for the second time in a row.
