Group C
Terry
Team: Lillestorm
Odds: 8 - 1
Previous Tournament Performances: Quarter-Finals, Group-Stages, Group-Stages, Group-Stages
Ranked: 15th
Having disappointedly missed the German Tournament Terry has returned to official tournament action and will be hoping to get out of the groups for the first time since his debut. Terry performed well in the anniversary nearly dragging a poor Sheffield United team out of the group stages, the team handed to him this time round is a decent Lillestorm side. If he can put together the types of performances that see him match the big guns like Kent then there is no reason why he can’t progress, but unfortunately for him they are all too sporadic.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Dog
Team: Rosenborg BK
Odds: 6 - 1
Previous tournament performances: Group-Stages, Group-Stages, Quarter-finals, Quarter-finals
Ranked: 10th
It looks like Dog has finally cracked progressing from the group-stages now having qualified for the last two knock-out stages in the official tournaments and that looks set to continue in this one too. He should see off Terry and Ludy and wouldn’t surprise me if he beat Voom as he has a very good team in Rosenborg. Dog needs to learn how to handle the knock-outs tho having never won a knock-out match yet.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Ludy
Team: Valerenga
Odds: 9 - 1
Previous tournament performances: Group Stage, Group Stage, Group Stage, Group Stage, Group Stage, Group Stage, Quarter-Final, Group Stage
Ranked: 12th
Having finally cracked his group-stage hoodoo Ludy went back to type in the German tournament exiting without much of a fight and this group looks just as hard, however he does have a decent team at his disposal. To qualify he will need to take points off Terry and Dog as he has a terrible record when it comes to big gun players like Voom, however beating both Terry and Dog seems unlikely meaning only one outcome.
Verdict: Group-Stages
Voom
Team: Viking FK
Odds: evens
Previous tournament performances: Semi-Final, Winner, Winner, Semi-Final
Ranked: 3rd
Having had his winning run halted by Kent in the German Tournament, Voom bounced back to take the anniversary tournament trophy a good show of mental strength ready for the serious business of this tournament. A tournament win remember folks would take him level on official titles with SpursBoy and I think unlike SpursBoy who has faded since his last title win, Voom is only becoming more determined, expect pure hell when facing this guy.
Verdict: Winner
