Winger aiming for return
Razak Boukari is facing a crucial couple of weeks as he aims to step up training in the aim of returning to full fitness.
The pacey winger has been sidelined with a troublesome calf injury since the game with Sheffield Wednesday back in September, which has prompted not only months of treatment at Compton but also visits to specialists in France.
He is now back doing parts of training sessions with the first team squad, but having suffered set backs at this stage previously the test will come when he bids to return to more competitive work.
“Razak's back in training, he joined in yesterday doing half of the session," said boss Dean Saunders.
“Razak is a couple of weeks away from being anywhere near.
“He's joining in, but it's the step-up that's done him in the past, with fatigue.
“He's got a separation in his calf, and instead of knitting together there's just scar tissue holding it.
"So if it happens again he'll need an op, but we won't find out until we push it.

Boukari Stepping It Up

Can't be coincidental that sicknotes like Kightly and Mark Davies have suddenly managed long injury-free spells after leaving Wolves.

The joke is that while he's been at Stoke he's been injury free !
Not a joke at all wolfgang, you hit on the real reason he left Wolves. Two years of very poor advice regarding his injuries. He has no problem at all with his knees now after seeking treatment himself rather than continuing to follow the crap advice he was getting at wolves. But people tell me I am making things up when I said the players had a low regard for Terry Connor, despite what some of them said to the press

I’d back him over you in a 100m sprint any day of the week.

That's one bet you're sure to lose tatter.
Daley is no match for two high-performance carbon fiber artificial legs.

He's staying injury free because he's not playing much at Stoke.

Great news but unfortunately he’s almost certain to breakdown with a minor (or less than minor) setback before we see him. Players always seem to when they’re coming back from a layoff as long as his.
Will we see him this season? I think not but hope I’m wrong.
Not only this season but part of pre-season as well
