He's useless! Would prefer us to play with 10 men!
Well out of his depth!

But all that apart.......
..........as someone who watched the Sheff Wed debacle I found last night's performance, as relayed by Stringer and Young, astonishing. Can someone who was there please tell me what on earth changed? This inconsistency is driving me MAD....

Sheffield Wednesday had no sense of entitlement and worked hard for every point they got, while we mostly sat back and worried and wondered about why we couldn't beat.
Last night we actually respected the fact that Cardiff might have some good players as well and worked harder to actually earn something.
And, unfortunately, the big mistake of the match was to bring Vardy on. He gave the ball away several times, he got caught massively out of position when he should have been preventing the free cross that they scored from, he was out of his depth on the pitch.
I know that Pearson has persisted with people before that the majority of the fans disagree with, Ryan McGivern being the one that immediately springs to mind. However, he's really got it wrong on Vardy: The guy has never shown the kind of form required for this division and, while I think it could be overlooked at first on the basis that you want to give a player time and that he needs to learn about the division and improve, it's time that Vardy was sent out on loan somewhere. He shouldn't be anywhere near our bench, let alone our first team: He's shown absolutely no sign of improvement since early season anywhere on the pitch and his age is against him.
I'm not generally one to give up on players - I still believe Wellens, Gallagher, Dyer, Waghorn, Whitbread and several other complained-about players can add something to the squad. However, Vardy (like Futacs) is out of his depth with what looks like a very low chance of improvement. At least Pearson recognised last night that the goal came because we failed to prevent the cross and that might make him think twice in the future about trying to solidify the right flank by putting Vardy on it.

I excecpt what you say about Vardy Dung but other players did not take their chances did not play the ball into the corners and yes our latest scapgoat carried the can. in the last few games more popular players have dropped a buuulock and they did not get the blame for losing the game.

Do you play the ball into the corner or do you stick in a decent cross when there could be a goalscoring opportunity from it? Frankly, wouldn't really want to criticise either approach there.
Anyway, I think other players' mistakes or poor contributions in recent weeks have been taken in a different context: Individual errors as compared to quality shown in the rest of the season or simple poor form that can improve. The problem with Vardy is not this one game - he looks out of his depth every time he's on the pitch, just like Futacs did. He tries hard, but he's not shown anything that suggests he's learning how to have a future in this division. Maybe he's showing a lot more in training or maybe he just gets on the pitch through work rate, but we're not seeing anything from him other than bluster.
This doesn't mean that there should be any vitriol toward Vardy of course: I don't believe that any player trying their best for the club should be subject to a lot of abuse. However, with Vardy I have a simple, grim acceptance that we've given him a go but he's not good enough - he's been given time and he's shown no sign of being good enough nor ever reaching the level that's required. The frustrating thing is that Pearson's still tempted to play him, whether as substitute or otherwise, and Vardy continues failing to display the level needed. So in many ways, it's not his fault: After all, it was Pearson who put him on the pitch and in the position that he did. I just wish he was out on loan somewhere so the temptation wasn't around.

Again agreed he should not be here at the moment. But i'm talking about the only thing we needed to do for the last five minutes keep possession of the ball or put it in row z we have been doing that earlier in the season why not yesterday?

I think the difference is partly home or away: keep-ball is much easier at home where the away fans would be harder to wind up with it.
Also, it'd be good to think about which players are good at this: Wellens, Gallagher and Knockaert are probably the most adept that I've seen at keep-ball in the corner; possibly Dyer and Konchesky too. There would have been a good argument for bringing Gallagher on for Nugent yesterday. Yes, he's lightweight, but a lightweight standing in the right position can still block crosses and not concede penalties. There's also a genuine reason for front players to try to win free kicks - not only can they waste time with sorting out walls, but Gally could hammer one with a chance of it flying it.
Overall, he would have read the game better than Vardy for probably a better impact.

For the third time Dung i agree with you I would not of brought another striker on i would of brought two midfields on and left a striker up top.
