So it seems were going into the season with Reid,Ollson,Tamas,Shorey as our back 4 which to me is crazy,time and time again our back 4 was exposed for lack of pace especially in full back areas.The right back area will become a problem Reid wont last 5 games without doing is groin exposing young Jones who by accounts hasnt looked to clever in pre season,Jara will hopefully be put on is bike so for me we should loan Nedum Onuoha from Man City who was excellent for Sunderland last season and can play right back or centre back and is quick.Foster will make a difference and Hodgsons pre season work on the teams shape without the ball will help but to me i was expecting different personal in the back 4 for this season,what do the rest of you Baggies fans think about our defensive options?

Onuoha at city is a good shout bobby.Alot of baggies fans seem a bit concerned about the lack of pace with our back four but i suppose u have to trust roy.On a side issue why the lack of Wba fans on ere its far better site than 12 yards,it seems many have gone to the new606 where there really isnt much banter on there with other fans.

Ridgewell is still on the cards despite what is said.
The transfer window is not closed yet.

Can"t see what the hold up is over Ridgewell its imperative you get defenders in early to work on the back fours shape,i bet deep inside Hodgsons fuming inside over the hold up,i dont think Ridgewells that good either but yes Stairs i think Ridgewell will arrive in the next couple of days and i suppose he"s a slight improvement on what wev"e got.
