What can you say?

We did it.

We never ever do things the easy way do we? Everything we said we wanted to avoid, we didn't. The early goal inside 20 minutes. The goal right after half time. The crucial equaliser, well we scored it for them.

I was worried when I saw the line up, it looked just like a Harry one. Tactically naive, 2 in centre mid when you're trying to shore up a game is simply criminal, especially when one of them is the most pointless footballer at our club and must leave in the summer. The line up would have looked great had we scored in the first half, but why risk it? Ade and Defoe are both badly off form and their 'partnership' is non existent.

After all this, we somehow managed to muster the energy to score, which in the end was what won it for us, so well done to the team for that. Ade, right place, right time. Luck? Doesn't matter, he was there and he put it away. Still some way short of the striker we crave however, that attempt at chipping the keeper at the end of the first half was laughable and annoying at the same time.

I'm worried. Extremely worried that 'the old spurs' will kick us in the teeth once again this season. We go 2-1 up at anfield, slightest bit of pressure and we fold. Call it individual errors if you want but how much pressure did it take for Walker to want to go all the way back to Lloris from there? Very little. Tonight, 3 goals up, just keep it simple and don't panic. What did we do?

Time will tell how much we've grown as a team, we'll be needing some late goals like we got tonight.
