I think you make a valid point.
Rangers to me have always been the word beginning with H and Celtic the Timms.
To me nothing religious just names.
I assumed maybe erroneously that they adopted these names much as we accept being the Arabs.

Reminds me of the South Park episode with their flag - 4 white guys hanging a black guy.
Chef was outraged when the kids said they didn't have a problem with it, but that's because they only saw the flag as 5 people, not defined by race.
If you don't have a certain mentality, you're just not going to see it the same. I've never really had a concept of sectarianism.
