.... getting bored with being in the top half of the Premier League all season?
Don't you yearn for the exciting days of flirting with relegation when you had something to keep your interest alive over Easter heading towards the cricket season and you struggle to keep hold of your annual £50 million from Sky, wondering if you'll attract any decent players and keep them?
Don't you wish you could be decidedly average like Sunderland and Aston Villa and West Ham and a few other teams?
No, me neither.
Anyone else...........

Mind you, it does pose a very good question.
Is it better to be fighting relegation and have the 'excitement' of every game being vital but with the threat of financial ruin and a spiral down through the leagues or at best, the 'elation' of a 'great escape' on the last day and living to fight another day....
or....
being 'stuck' in that place that see's you survive with ease in the top half of the league but not quite consistant enough to make the top 6?
This is the 'problem' that the Albion now face. There isn't too much room left to manoeuver. The next step is going to require us to be very canny in the transfer market in the summer just to maintain our status in the top 8.
Will we be happy next year to finish in the top half? Of course we will but I do understand what pundit was trying to get at.
It would seem then that there is never a good ending in football. You cannot keep finishing better than you did last time.
Are Man City happy at finishing 2nd? Nope.
Are Chelsea and Arsenal happy? Nope.
Are Liverpool happy? Nope.
Are Reading happy? They were riding around in an open top bus only a few months ago.
I'm gonna convince myself that finishing 8th every year is fantastic....

it wasn't great to watch Pundit but at least David Davis' own goal cheered us up

That's a very good question, Tidy.
Meanwhile, Fulham win at Spurs to improve their own position and push Stoke back into the bottom half of the table.

Fat Sam and West Ham and Newcastle stay exactly where they are and Wigan give themselves a chance. Win their game in hand, which is against Norwich, and it's wide open at the bottom. How exciting!
