That goal gets better every time you see it. Can see Hart go the wrong way initially due to the bend.
Shown here really well:

The bend on it is HUGE as the 2nd vid shows. The 1st vid shows just how far out he was when he struck it. That was one sweet strike!
Bend it like Ossie

And with that silence.......
Victory!
Never try to tell someone what they have seen!

Ossie is so good that what ever our opinion of his goal is, he did exactly what was needed to score a goal like that. If that meant kicking the ground and mis-shaping his foot then that is what he decided to do. If he didn't kick the ground and it was just grass coming off of his studs then that too is what Ossie intended to score the goal he scored.
Or....... it was just a nice goal that helped us win an important game.

I saw it on goals on Sunday this morning, it was a good goal nothing unconventional about it it was a good old fashioned let it roll across your body and hit it with the outside of your foot and let the swerve do the rest. I was however surprised Osman scored from such a distance normally from what I have seen of him he has a fairly timid shot.

Joe Royal said it was a great strike and Ossie took a little divot,
the presenter says to Hoddle "so an element of fortune with the goal Glenn" Hoddle said " no it was the angle of the ball coming to Ossie that made the shot swerve so much and because of the angle it looks like it's mishit but he hit it in the middle of the ball and it's a wonderful strike"
Joe also said it wasn't a mishit.

Who gives a rat's posterior if it was a clean contact or not. It hit the back of the net and that's all that matters to me.

So Hoddle never said it was a mishit.....
Oh dear.. Where does this bitterness come from TOOR.

I wonder what would have happend if he didn't 'mis-hit' his shot TOOR?
Over 14 hours and still no come back on the half time commentary. Epic clempton.

Don't think we will hear from him again...

Back in the day, I was a good but extremely one-footed left winger. In fact I regularly got roasted by managers for it, but I was just unable to do anything on my right foot apart from stand on it. As a form of compensation I used to practice shooting with my favoured peg and my favourite shot was EXACTLY the one that Ossie cracked out on Saturday. Outside of the foot, hitting the ball as hard and as quick as I could. Don't think I ever got as much swerve as he did but we were still playing with pigs bladders back then!
Anyway, my point is. . . it was a great shot, a great goal and it WAS meant. Now excuse me while I return to the days when you could leave your front door open and policemen were allowed to clip kids round the back of t'head.
