I suspect naughton is on the right of midfield with benny at right back.

I hope I am wrong and vertonghen plays as a midfielder

Naughton at RB hasn't happened that much.
The most recent time (the Leeds FA Cup tie) , he did not exactly distinguish himself.

Does anybody have a clue any more what our best defence is, because with all these constant changes I am sure AVB does not.
