Today has brought me back down to earth. I believed that AVB had turned us round from our usual bottle job when the pressure is on but plainly that is still a problem.
The reality is that with the team and strikers we have we are a top 6 team but will only get top 4 if Arsenal, Man City or Chelsea fall away and I don't think this will happen.
I still believe that AVB is the manager to take us forward and we could win the Europa with a bit of luck.
The summer signings will be the key to our future and with Bale's likely departure if we do not make the Champions League then Levy must make some shrewd signings. Unfortunately Levy does not fill me with confidence on this score but we live in hope.

Your problem is that you have a small squad. You lack another forward, midfielder and defender - then at least you could easily rotate the squad.

Listening to his post match interview it sounds like Lennon has an injury that with our luck will make him miss most of our remaining games. Without him and the width he provides we look a much weaker team.

i have been saying we need to be like for like wing cover for about 4 seasons now
and we never ever do. its a bit ridiculous
