1, The last time we won promotion, we had a pretty disastrous February and March.when we had a lead of around 11,or 12 points cut down to just 1 point. I believe we only won one game and lost two and drew the rest, The turning point being the Easter weekend, when Peterbrough dropped precious points and we won both games, we went on to win the division by 7 points.
2, Nigel Pearson's current run through February and March has yielded 1 win, 3 draws and 6 defeats (counting Huddersfield in the FA Cup)
At the start of the 2010/11 season when Paulo Soaso was in charge, I believe we gained only 1 win, 2 draws and 6 defeats. this resulting in Paulo being dismissed.
( These stats are off the top of my head and haven't checked them, so no doubt somebody will correct me)

I am going to have to have a beer to think about that!
The difference to the mind set is that we had less pressure. Coming second would still have got us promotion.
We are talking about not making the play off's here.
