Hype over Aquilani

In behind the striker i think he can cut it, but smack bang in the thick and thin of center midfield i have my doubts, one thing's for sure, he's good enough to be in our match day squad vs Sunderland.

Nero if what you say about Aquilani is true, where does that leave players like Adam and Henderson who Alberto has outperformed in pre season?

Well, I can't see Henderson getting much of a look in, disregarding friendlies he just isn't good enough ~yet. I can also see Adam playing the games such as Stoke away etc.

Meireles for me is proven and will only get better.

I'm all for Aquilani staying, and I want him to succeed, but i'm not truly convinced yet.

I know he's not proven in the Premiership I just hope Kenny is not driving him out when he has ability to be a success, let's hope it turns out for the best.

Well if we want to sign other players this window, we probably have to sell one of Aquilani or Meireles, and personally I would rather have Meireles. We have to offload some players and we are overstaffed in the CM department and I like Aquilani as a player but we dont need him. I would rather sell Aquilani and bring in a couple of defenders rather than not buy any defenders and have Aquilani.
