I would have let him play if I were Manchini, he would have had a better game than Javier Garcia thats for sure!

Fans also see what they want to see and only look at the good sides of their new players.

When I heard that BR was going in for him I thought squad player, when I heard the price I laughed out loud.Did the chairman of Swansea drive him up to Anfield(the ground not the supporter) himself?

Why do you keep talking about the press and sheep?

Do you think people on this thread use the press to base judgements on players ability?

Too lightweight to be a defensive midfielder, not skillful enough to be a no 10 and not got a pass in him to be a midfielder capable of delivering defense splitting passes.

Not a player you would say would be a good utility player that can play in many positions purely down to his size and skill.

What does Allen actually bring to the party?

Yeah, he doesn't suit the defensive midfielder role but he does suit the role ahead of him with his fantastic passing ability and great brain. A really intelligent player.

Many times for Swansea and Wales. Not too many for us. Lucas was injured and he had to play every game as a defensive midfielder, he did well initially, with plaudits coming from all directions. He then went into bad form but with Lucas injured, he had to stay in and eventually was injured. Since then, he's been a shadow of the player he was.

He had one season at the top level with players suited to the style of play.

In the Championship is not a good measure!

Many players had one season at the top level and such was the potential people say in them, they were bought by another club. One played for your club, you know the one with the fat head and fake hair?

One season?

I think you have Fellaini mixed up with someone else.
