Read an interesting article on the ways in which we can deal with Carra's retirement.

The thing that strikes out at me in the poll about Martin Kelly where most say he should be first choice centre back while almost all agree he should be a centre back and not a right back even if only a squad player.
For me I would say he hasn't been given the opportunity to play his 'natural position' so thrusting him instantly into the first team a new position on the back of long term injuries would be a strange one but I think he's capable.
What are your thoughts?

Ryan McLaughlin is the most natural fit for RB, more so than Kelly and Wisdom who are clearly better suited to CB.

Vidic isn't injury prone he just suffered one serious injury which obviously takes a long time to recover

Kelly hasn't played centreback since the last decade when he was a child.
Maybe he can go back to a position he played a long time ago when he was in the reserves, maybe not.
Is it really his 'natural position' or did the manager(s) just realise he was a better fullback than centreback?
dunno. But it's a gamble to assume he can play there in the premiership.
