Fourth and final test to start tomorrow morning in Delhi. Both teams are expected to try some new faces but still expect either an Indian win or a draw.
No idea why Raina was picked as a cover for Dhawan..Rahane should have been picked as an opener instead of (presumably) pushing Pujara up to open.
Clarke is expected to sit this test out with back problems, being replaced by Watson.

ask any player in the world, spin is probably the hardest thing to play. This series has had enough for all types of players. Whether you are a pacer, left hand spinner or offspinner and etc.
You just had to apply yourself well as shown by pattinson starc, ashwin, jadeja. As for batsmen, the ones that applied themselves well scored runs and those that didnt had a very poor series.
Not many test series even on those pace friendly pitches provide so much for all types of players.
People that whinge about indian pitches, should shut their mouths for good now. 8 test matches and 7 results. What else does a test match want?
as for india, pujara and kohli have been great finds. Also bhuvneshwar will be an asset in SAn conditions.Just need umesh yadav to be fit again.
I personally think tendulkar will retire. he has had another average series which is again damaging his reputation. He can atleast leave in a high now. 4-0 victory first time in indian history. what else would a player want?

Kohli still has not proved himself in tests as he has done in ODIs. Although he is pretty much a regular in the side, he is not as good as I would have liked him to be at this stage. Too many starts which he fails to convert.
I still think we need Zaheer for SA. Zaheer, Yadav and Praveen Kumar are needed. Probably Ashwin for the spinner.

green if we replaced the oldies with the youngster as soon as England debacle happened, we would have done way better in australia. So zaheer is not going to make a difference. Just bowling well is not a criteria. He will save 10 runs with his bowling and leak 30 runs in the field.
Lets move foward with the young guns. They are more hungrier, fitter and want to prove themselves, whereas the senior players are taking their places for granted.
Also we have to look at at some facts, if zak was ineffective against not a strong australian batting line up, how would he be effective against the saffers who have a more superior batting line up?

Kohli is going to improve. Thats how he started his odi career as well. started quite slow, but soon improved. I personally think kohli shud bat 4, so after tendulkar retires I think kohli will be promoted and we will see him improve.
I think manoj tiwari and rahane shud be competing for no.5 and no.7 postion cause jadeja will play in the playing 11 in SA.

SA will be seaming wickets and we can't go in with a bunch of youngsters on green tops...they need Zak's experience I think. He's had a couple of shoddy tours but I don't think he should be dumped the way he has been.

green only bowling well isnt the criteria. what would you want, have zak for the first 2 tests, and then he gets injured(which he is more likely to) and then we are left with a team that doesnt have a settled attack. Zak is a liability in the field.
If zak wants to be considered he needs to improve his fitness more than anything. Obviously if we dont give youngsters the chance they will always remain inexperianced. The more they play the better they will get. We just need to give them opportunities for them to improve.

Bangladesh would give India more of a game.

When was the last Pakistan beat Aus in a test series?
Probably before you were born mate.

These fickle fans..England have been pathetic for a couple of decades. They get a semi-decent team for once and they're chest beating like they're invincible. Pakistani fans having a go at Aussies for drug abuse is the most laughable thing ever

I think the ashes will really see where England and australia are. English fans were laughing at australias performance, and now they have even performed worse than what many would have thought. They first lost to Nz A in a warm up game, and will lose this if they dont put their act right.
Ashes will be much more closer, the only thing is Australia need to take practice matches seriously and go to England a month before just to prepare themselves.
