Sturridge and Welbeck to start against Montenegro, or Welbeck to come on for Rooney or Defoe later in this game and Sturridge to start with Rooney next time?

Fair enough if he is injured.

Would still rather young players against San Marino.

Most U21 teams will be better than them, so why not properly give kids a go.

It's only good experience for them.

It's not like they are not going to win. The risk is minuscule.

Defoe isn't a version of Sturridge at all. V different forwards. Agree he's rubbish at the mo though. Hopefully a brace and a decent performance will give him a spark for us

i just think they are both greedy and waste opportunities their teams make for them. But Danny seems to be more talented and abit more pace.

Defoe is probably better in front of goal and Sturridge might have a better all round game. Neither is or will be a 20 goal a season striker though.
