The failure of one component effects all the others.

The analog is removing a pinwheel from a watch: the watch will still appear to be a watch but it won’t keep time.

Wolves are the pinwheel, English football appears to be the watch.

Historically, Sandwellians have had trouble telling the time, so have had a 'lookout' boy to knock on doors to tell them when the sun appears to be going down.

Modern Sandwellians prefer not to wear a watch, deeming the equipment too heavy on one side of the body when worn with an ankle tag.

Personally, I take The Times. Unlike in Wolverhampton, 'taking' means paying for it as well.

Personally, I take The Daily Sport. I take it into the toilet with me when I get my bathroom break.
