The Indian state of Tamil Nadu has written to the Indian prime ministers asking for the lanka players not to play in Chennai. This is because of the poor treatment of the Lankans in India and the rising and hostile tensions. This effects Malinga, Jayawardene, sangakkara and Matthews.
With KP and Clarke already out amongst other top names, will this be the worse IPL in its short history? Or will it mean, more dollies and hence more SIXES? Either way, I will be glued to it and await with huge excitement and anticipation
India bans Lankans

Both Phil Mustard and Joe Denly said they would play in a Pakistan T20 league so that negates that argument.

At least someone is seriously reading MY comments on JA606 cricket board and requested to ban cricket players. Today players, tomorrow cricket... voila...The revolution has started.
No more cricket.

England,
You don't half talk out of your backside do you. A nutcase is a nutcase, a terrorist is a terrorist. The Northern Ireland terrorist are Islamist too? I suppose bush and Blair must be aswell? How about the England hooligans in the 80's and 90s?? And the list goes on........
Pakistan India issue is Kashmir. If you ever bothered to read the British history you'd know that, but that's what happens when you take all your knowledge from toilet paper

You know nothing at all about Islamists. The same Islamists were termed as Jihadis when you were sponsoring them in your war against Soviet Union. Who knows if they were killing innocents then also but you were all praise for them. And you have completely ignored Afridi14's comment on Bush and Blair, they have killed hundreds of thousands innocent Iraqis for no reason whatsoever. You never talk about them. If you are all for humanity then quit these double standards. Your comments would sound appropriate once you get rid of your blinkered view point i.e when you condemn a human killing another human, not only when a Islamist kills another human.
I for one condemn both!

Politicians are in the pockets of bankers and arms dealers. You cant sell bullets and bombs without conflict and you cant buy them without money.
I dont know of anyone that wanted us to go in to Iraq and Afghanistan even after all the lies the media fed us. Take Libya for example and the one way media reporting we saw, the same thing is happening in Syria... Its a total whitewash.
You need to open your eyes, ears and mind, Englandwhoelse, dont be fooled by the liars that hold the power.
I hope most Muslims are intelligent enough to realise that these so called leaders we have in this country do not act on behalf of the majority, they certainly dont represent how I feel.

Very poor, short sighted decision. The only reason I can think of is that the Tamil Naidu government is trying to win votes for the next election.
Regarding the above comments; we all know that more religious a country is, the worse it is for treating women.
We have a lot of problmes in India, but we are trying to fix them. It is not possible to change everyone's attitude at once. This takes generations to do. I have no doubt that India is exponentially progressing with each generation.

Singh Saab,
Well said mate and I salute you for being one of the very few on here actually sticking to the topic.
Well said sprinkler, and I hope you also realise that the vast majority of Muslims do not condone acts of violence on any human beings regardless of backgrounds and religions. Those muppets that do, do it for financial and political reasons only.
Exactly winning, the double standards are just hypocritical. Shame that people think that way.

Oofffffffff... Very hot in here.
I believe it's not one particular religion, race or creed that is responsible for this complex problem. It's us, humans. I think, this whole issue started from one hating the other. It could be between two races or religions or even between two regions in the same country.

It's the damn English! If they hadn't invented cricket, we wouldn't be having this problem!

This is quite sad, sport should never, ever serve as a tool for politicians to exploit. At the end of it the AIADMK have just done this to whip up a bit of Tamil patriotism and thus ensure votes for themselves.
Does the TN government even have the power to issue a blanket ban on all members of a particular nation? It's just a state government, after all.
