My favorite player is Ronaldinho. When I was younger, I use to spend hours watching videos of his tricks and practicing them, but I never managed to pull one them off . If Ronaldinho had the same mentality like Ronaldo and Messi, he could have been one of the best ever.
So who is yours? Which player did want to be?
Who is your favorite player of all time?

Mine was fat Ronaldo. Until Mess and C. Ronaldo, the best player of the past 2 decades. Wrecked physically by injuries at a young age but still has an incredible list of achievements and accolades.
For Arsenal, I'd say Pires is my favourite. I rated only Henry ahead of him in our team. Fantastic player. And better than Giggs.

Is that a trick question? The answer is, of course, Maradona!

Thomas, how can it be a trick question when the question is who is your favourite player of all time?
there is no trick to it, its just a simple trick.

Ian Wright.
Underrated as a player as his personality and goalscoring exploits outshone just what a bright, intuitive and intelligent football player he actually was.
Great movement meshed with superb application, an under-appreciated ability with the ball at his feet and a genuine joy and pleasure for the game and the performance aspect of the game combined to make him a joy to watch and the perfect introduction for me to both Arsenal football club and the game of football proper.
I'll never have a favourite footballer that comes close to matching what Wright meant for me as a player.
Notable mentions: Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, Tomas Rosicky, Michel Platini, Zinedine Zidane.

Djalminha - As skill go you not even Ronaldinho can touch this guy. Most watchable, unpredictable and natural talent i have ever seen.
