......................earlier posting about the worst thing you have seen on the football pitch, I would like to expand things a bit and ask you what is the most daring thing you have done in life?
It can be anything you like, let us see how daring we Spurs fans really are?
Having spent a number of years in the RAF, part of my training was parachute jumping, both static & free fall. Now funnily enough I did not see that as particularly dangerous or threatening.
However, my partner & I were out in New Zealand three years ago & whilst in Auckland we watched people jumping off the Sky City Tower from about 640 feet up.(google skycity Auckland)
Anyways my other half said she would pay for me to jump off there (not sure if she meant without a harness or not? ) as it was my birthday.
Well I said yes & booked in, it was very strange looking down at the office blocks from the platform, when you are on the edge they get you to just step off and you initially drop around 40 feet, then you are held there while everyone in the viewing gallery take photos of you.
About 20 seconds later they release you & you plunge face down towards the landing area. The brakes are applied & you then land at around 5mph........................................the guy at the bottom said we are not very busy, would you like another go free. Well, I was up the high speed lift in a jiffy & off I went again. Scary but amazing fun.
This is what they called a fixed wire static jump, it would be suicidal to do a bungee type jump down the side of a building. Anyway my partner, who is a retired GP, would not let me do a bungee jump, because of the risk of detached retinas!!
So come on guys, and girls tell us your stories!

I went to Spurs v Ipswich at WHL, sat in the home end and refused to stand up when they said "Stand Up if you hate Arsenal".
I was so brave I went back when Spurs played Liverpool, and did the same.
My third trip was less brave as I sat in the family section.
Pwoper hard geezer, innit!! That puts to shame your tales of the R.A.F. and jumping off tall buildings, GG.

Halloween when I was younger was always pretty wild. Through an egg at someones house and he chased after us in the park in his Land Rover!

Dived with sharks. Also did a poo off the side of the boat while everyone else was diving, which I deem quite daring.
Walked into a shop boll@ck naked and started eating a mars bar.

Chicken........................The most daring thing i have done, by a country mile, was the Pamplona Bull Run in 2009.
When them beats are up your back side it is the most frightening thing i have ever faced.

I scrambled Tryfan in Wales and nearly died in the process.
Went up the wrong way, had to climb in to a small gap, back up against the wall and with my feet push myself up and then grab a ledge in front when high enough to pull up.
When me and this guy up that bit we had to hug against the mountain and shimmy round the mountain on the thinnest of lips, no more then 5 inches.
Literally one slip and we were probably dead, about a 50 foot drop on to a load of rocks.
Didn't help it was raining and windy
Luckily there was space to pull outside up on to flatter ground otherwise it was back the way we came or signal for help and have a RAF chopper collect us

On my 18th birthday i decided i wanted to go streaking.... pretty much like the scene from Old School. So i got very drunk and at about 10:30 ran past my local nightclub which had a queue of about 100 odd people with my mate behind in the car beeping. Thinking about it if i was him i would of drove off. Good job he's a good friend
