Connect the TurboFire 2 wireless controller to your PC using the USB cable.
Open the Customizer software.
Click "Update Controller" button at the bottom of the software.

That was a bit of cut and pasting. Did you try this?

Update, now I've managed to update it and the controller logs in but the buttons don't work

Don't you have to program them? I text my mate that did it but he is a stoner and can't remember what he did.

Think you need to get it working on the pc and use the customiser function but every link I can find brings me back to the code junkies site and that seems to be down?
